Previous Call for Artists:
We will be hanging a show at our new space to coincide with the Hyattsville Arts Festival on May 16 11am-5pm. Find details about the festival here: www.hyattsvillearts.com/ .  The festival gets amazing foot traffic, and will bring a lot of attention to our show.  It’s our goal to organize a show with a lot of affordable art with a great deal to the artist.  Our space is small and we want to maximize it’s use.  We’re going to hang a 12×12 show.  We’re looking for art that can fit 1ft x 1ft spots.  All art must have a wire, capable of hanging on a hook, and be less than 10 pounds.   Painting, printing, photography, 2-d sculpture, reliefs, and more.  If you have a question about acceptable media, or presentation, feel free to reply here.   Each slot will be sold for $12.00, all artists must be artdc.org members.  We will hang at least 100 works of art, and slots will be first come first serve.  All works from paid slots will have 0% commission.  100% of those sales go towards the artist.

The goal is to raise some funds, and move a great deal of art, so please keep your value below $250
We will be donating 10 slots to Steve’s art class from Pathways in PG county.  These students work so hard to achieve something, and it’s our pleasure to provide the public access to their work.  We need to give back a little to the community!
We invite all artists to be present for the art festival and to bring catalogs.  There will be space for cards, artist info, statements, and more.
