Werrlein Properties builds and rehabs homes in the Maryland and DC area. Seeking to redevelop the site occupied by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission's former headquarters Werrlein Properties has proposed Magruder Pointe, which will include the construction of single-family homes and townhouses on the property, two "community greens," and a large recreational space adjacent to Magruder Park.

Currently, UIP is developing the Hyattsville Armory Apartments as a mixed-use retail and residential complex — that includes public park space — spanning Baltimore Avenue from Hamilton Street to the Crossover Church.
Maryland State Arts Council
With a celebrated record of commitment to innovation, collaboration and leadership in the arts reaching back four decades, the Arts Council was founded to encourage and invest in the arts for all Marylanders. With a strong record of support for artists, arts programs and organizations, MSAC continues its work to build an even stronger creative community.The Annual Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival (organized by the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation) is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to non profit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

The Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council
The Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) seeks to create a world-class cultural environment where diverse high quality arts and humanities programs are available for all Prince George’s County residents and visitors.
The PGAHC is an independent non-profit organization designated by the Prince George’s County government to coordinate financial support and advocacy for the arts and humanities through grants, artistic programs and creative partnerships among business, education, government and residents.
Maryland Milestones, a brand established in 2012 by Anacostia Trails Heritage Area Inc., highlights the first and “unique” moments which have occurred (or are occurring) in the Maryland Certified Anacostia Trails Heritage Area. This program brings information about these “milestones” to the public and makes connections between the history, culture, and nature of the region. Additionally, the Maryland Milestones brand emphasizes the importance travel, trade, and communication have played in the region – through turnpikes, highways, parkways, aviation, telegraphs, and train travel. This program includes updated signage, information kiosks, a heritage center, and interpretive program trails.

In its 16th year, Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair is an exhibition and sale of handmade goods from independent artists presented by the Washington City Paper.
Crafty Bastards' annual fall festival will take place outdoors in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, Setpember 28 and Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Buzzard Point DC, 10 AM - 5 PM both days.
